Top-10's in 3Z and 15V at Boone County and Eagle

Papillion, Nebraska’s Cole Vanderheiden delivered a pair of strong performances over the weekend while competing in two different rides across two tracks.

On Friday at Boone County Raceway, Vanderheiden piloted the Zach Davis Racing No. 3Z in Malvern Bank 360 Sprint Series competition. After a seventh-place finish in his heat race placed him mid-pack for the feature, he charged forward in the 25-lap main event—gaining seven positions to notch a seventh-place finish.

Saturday at Eagle Raceway brought a similar storyline. Following a slow start in prelims, Vanderheiden secured his spot in the feature with a B-Main victory. From there, he advanced 11 positions to cross the line in fifth. He followed Alex Salzman, Adam Gullion, Brandon Horton, and Troy Sanford across the stripe.
