Top-10 finish at Hamilton County Speedway
Cole Vanderheiden took on a doubleheader weekend behind the wheel of the Zach Davis Racing No. 3Z Sprint Car, beginning Friday at Hamilton County Speedway with the Malvern Bank 360 Sprint Series.
After finishing fifth in his heat race, Vanderheiden started from the fifth row in the 25-lap feature and made steady progress, advancing three positions to claim a seventh-place finish.
The weekend continued Saturday at the famed Sprint Car Capital of the World—Knoxville Raceway—where an eighth-place result in his heat race sent him to a B-Main. Despite his efforts, Vanderheiden’s night ended early with a 12th-place finish in the consolation race, falling short of a transfer spot into the main event.
