Cole Vanderheiden highlights recent weekend with double ASCS National top-ten
Cole Vanderheiden's Friday night effort with the ASCS National Tour at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, was impressive, to say the least, and if one top-ten finish was not enough, the Nebraska native did it twice, concluding the evening with back-to-back seventh-place scores. In fact, Vanderheiden passed a combined 22 cars to achieve his back-to-back outcomes, commencing Friday's Make-Up Feature from 19th on the grid, all before starting 17th for the regularly scheduled main event. In addition, Cole's effort in the Make-Up Feature secured the Hard Charger Award.
Other weekend highlights include a top-five during IMCA competition at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska, on Sunday, September 7. Vanderheiden launched his effort with a heat race victory, racing on to finish second in the evening's 25-lap main event.
Cole Vanderheiden is set to continue his 2025 campaign with a visit to US 30 Speedway in Columbus, Nebraska, on Friday, September 12. To learn more, visit the facility online at www.us30speedway.com.
