Vanderheiden Expanding 2024 Lineup With Over 50 RaceSaver And 360 Events
PAPILLION, Neb. (February 3, 2024) Making his announcement around joining with Zach Davis to pursue the Malvern Bank Sprint Car Series title in October, 2023, the season lineup for Cole Vanderheiden will expand further in 2024 with a mix of over 50 IMCA RaceSaver and Winged 360cid events.
Reflecting on the momentum built during his 2023 campaign, Cole stated, “I feel that the 2023 season was a success, even without any wins in the books. I had a few heat wins through the summer which led to a couple runner up finishes in the A-Main, and missed the season championship by just one-point at Husets.”
Making his debut in the Davis backed No. 3z at Beatrice Speedway at the end of September, Cole claimed a respectable 13th place finish.
"In the 360, my goal is set to be the Malvern Bank 360 Sprint Cars Rookie of the Year, as well as getting better each night as I gain more and more experience throughout the season,” stated Cole on his goals for the 2024 season.
On the RaceSaver side of things, the goals are much higher, saying that he expects to much higher finishes in the RaceSaver night in, and night out, but the biggest weekends Cole is looking forward to is July 20 at Knoxville Raceway, and September 8 at Eagle Raceway.
“Both of those races are in the 360 and the experience and level of competition will be outstanding. Besides that, all the new tracks I will be racing at will be very exciting.”
Cole’s 2024 season begins behind the wheel of his RaceSaver Sprint Car on April 6 at Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, Iowa. The full 2024 lineup can be found, at https://www.coletrain15v.com/schedules/2024. Updates are made without notice.
