Vanderheiden in good spirits despite tough ending to ASCS outing at I-55

A tough ending to a great experience, but Nebraska's own Cole Vanderheiden is in good spirits, already looking ahead to his 2026 360 Sprint Car season.

Vanderheiden, who joined the ASCS National Tour in his Saturday night stop at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park in Pevely, Missouri, did his best to beat the best, qualifying seventh within his respective group before racing on to finish sixth in the first heat race. Unfortunately, a rough patch in the evening's 30-lapper sent Vanderheiden for a tumble; he was unharmed, but scored 23rd.

Cole Vanderheiden's season aboard the Zach Davis Racing No. 3Z has officially come to a close. Stay tuned for updates regarding the 2026 360 season.
