Vanderheiden earns top-five in first-ever Oklahoma sprint car start; Knoxville and Stuart on deck
It was a night to remember for Papillion, Nebraska's own Cole Vanderheiden, concluding his road trip south to Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, with a top-five outcome - his first-ever Oklahoma start in a winged sprint car. Vanderheiden, powering the Bradco Companies No. 15V 305 sprinter, finished fourth in the 25-lap program, moving ahead two spots from the outside of row three. The Cornhusker utilized a heat race victory to propel his evening momentum.
Although off to a busy start, Cole Vanderheiden's April slate is far from over, setting his focus forward on upcoming starts at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, and Stuart Raceway in Stuart, Nebraska, on Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19. Each of the aforementioned starts will be aboard a 360 sprint car.
