FULL STEAM AHEAD: "ColeTrain" eager to launch 2026 campaign at US 36 Raceway
"ColeTrain" Cole Vanderheiden is as eager as ever, but his chance to compete is just around the corner, working to launch his 2026 season with a visit to US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, on Friday, March 27.
Vanderheiden, who will participate in multiple open wheel divisions throughout his 2026 campaign, will enter the IMCA portion of US 36 Raceway's program; a support class to the invading World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Technically, ColeTrain's visit to US 36 on March 27 will act as an impromptu test session, as the Nebraska native will return to Osborn, Missouri, on Friday, May 15 - this time joining the POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint League. Vanderheiden's first 410 Sprint Car start of the season will occur one month prior, invading Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska, with High Limit's "High Rollers."
