Vanderheiden highlights competitive stretch with Racesaver top-five at Huset's
Three IMCA/Racesaver sprint car starts resulted in there solid finishes for Papillion, Nebraska's own Cole Vanderheiden, finishing no worse than 11th while highlighting all appearances with a top-five at Huset's Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, on Sunday, May 10. Vanderheiden, who wheels winged sprint cars at all engine levels, finished fourth in his Racesaver | Mother's Day start at Huset's, commencing action from eighth on the grid. There were 31 entries who made the call.
As described, Vanderheiden's Huset's outcome was his best, launching his weekend's three-race campaign with a 10th-place finish at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, on Friday, May 8, followed by an 11th-place result at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska, on Saturday, May 9.
With all performances considered, Vanderheiden now owns five top-tens on the season, three of which occurring within the top-five.
